When Is The Best Time To Exercise To Reduce Belly Fat?

Whatever your preferences, there are a huge variety of exercise programs available for people who are looking to exercise to lose some weight from their stomach. So, once you have found a program that you like or a new one that you want to try when is the best time to exercise to reduce belly fat?

Morning or afternoon exercise sessions each have distinctive benefits. Our bodies are governed by our internal circadian rhythm, which is your body's clock. It regulates the body's chemical and hormonal production and metabolism along an approximate 24 hour period. This lets you sleep when it is sleep time and become active when it is time for that.

Your circadian rhythm affects your heart rate, body temperature and hormone levels which are all essential to a successful exercise program.

While medical professionals are split on whether there is an ideal time of day to exercise, morning and afternoon exercise sessions each have distinctive benefits.

Exercising in the morning

While there is not enough scientific evidence to support this claim, the main benefit to morning exercise to reduce belly fat is that that you will burn more calories exercising on an empty stomach. Exercise raises your metabolic rate for hours after your workout. Your metabolic rate is the amount of calories your body burns at rest for basic functioning, so with a morning workout you are getting the benefits during the day when you eat. Plus, people who work out first thing in the morning may be less likely to forget their diets during the day.

Also, research has shown that people who exercise in the morning are more likely to stick with their exercise program in the long run. If you have full time job and a family you will know that there are always things to be done during the day. If you leave your workout until later in the day, there is more temptation to push it back or miss it entirely due to more pressing or important things that have to be done.

Exercising in the afternoon

If you struggle to get out of bed in the morning, afternoon workouts are definitely the best option for you, as your enthusiasm to be exercising in the gym or swimming in the pool will be pretty low.

To get the most out of any exercise to reduce belly fat, you need to be committed both physically and mentally.

There is some evidence that working out in the afternoon gives you an added performance boost. While everyone's circadian rhythm is different, our bodies tend to be warmest in the afternoon, increasing blood flow and flexibility. So, if you prefer complicated, difficult exercise programs like cycling or dance-style classes, it may be best to do them in the afternoon, when your muscles are warmest and there is a lower risk of injury.

There is no overall agreement as to when during the day you should workout for maximum results to reduce belly fat but there are considerations to consider for both a morning and an afternoon exercise program.

If you exercise in the morning, ensure that you warm-up, as your muscles will be cool and stiff after sleeping. If you exercise in the afternoon you need to be conscientious about not missing your workout. Researchers, dieticians and scientists are agreed on one thing though. Rather than being concerned about what is the best time of day to exercise, you need find a good exercise program and stick to it consistently.

5 Easy and Effective Steps to Reduce Belly Fat

A excess of fat in the midsection has been linked to a number of debilitating illnesses and conditions such as diabetes, certain cancers, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. Many people find it increasingly difficult to lose weight as they age, and most men tend to gain weight around the midsection first. However, by following the five steps outlined below, it's possible to reduce belly fat, lose weight, decrease the risk of certain diseases, and increase your overall quality of life.

1. Eat healthier meals

Research suggests that a diet rich with omega-3 fats can reduce the production of adrenaline, which is a stress hormone that contributes to belly fat. Omega-3's can be found in foods such as fish, nuts, seeds, and olive oil. Also be sure to get the right amount of protein, vitamins, and minerals, and avoid processed foods and those that are high in animal fat.

2 . Get enough exercise

A combination of aerobics and stomach-toning exercises coupled with a healthy diet will help tighten abdominal muscles and reduce belly fat. Exercise for at least 20, if not 30, minutes a day for the best results. Many people are surprised to learn that traditional sit-ups really aren't the best way to reduce belly fat. Exercises such as pelvic lifts and tilts are much better for toning and strengthening weak or flabby abdominal muscles.

3. Strength train

Incorporate strength training into your exercise routine to help reduce belly fat. Regular weight lifting is beneficial because muscles burn calories. The more muscles your body has, the more calories it will be able to burn. Muscles also take up roughly a third of the amount of space that fat does, which helps us to not only feel better, but look better as well. Fitness trainers recommend strength training only every other day to allow the muscles a chance to rest and to avoid injury.

4. Limit stress

A hormone called cortisol is released during periods of stress and then remains at an elevated level. The fat in the abdomen acts differently from fat cells found in other parts of the body mainly due to the large blood supply in this particular area. The abdominal region also has more receptors to stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline. All of these factors make it easier for fat to be stored here and settle around the abdominal area.

Try to limit your levels of tension by incorporating stress relieving activities into your daily schedule. At some point during the full 24 hours of each and every day, it's imperative to make time for yourself in order for good mental and physical health. Read, talk a walk, listen to music, talk to a friend, soak in the bath, or simply nap or meditate for a few minutes each day. Research has shown that reducing stress does have a positive impact on the body's ability to reduce belly fat.

5. Be patient

This final step to reduce excess belly fat is just as important as the other four. The extra fat that you've accumulated around your midsection didn't appear overnight, and likewise, it won't disappear that quickly either. By fretting and worrying about plateaus or stalls in weight loss, you may actually cause yourself to gain weight due to the extra stress on the body.

5 Best Foods to Reduce Belly Fat

Are you eager to lose that stubborn belly fat once and for all? Eating healthy, getting daily exercise and managing stress are all essential components for reducing belly fat and achieving better health, but did you know that you can eat certain foods to help you reduce belly fat even faster? Here are five of the best foods that will help you get rid of belly fat for good and improve your overall well-being.

Apples

Apples are nutritional powerhouses that will fill you up for hours, so you can get flatter abs before you know it. Apples are full of healthy dietary fiber, flavonoids, Vitamin C, cancer-fighting phytonutrients and antioxidants, B-Complex vitamins, and important minerals such as potassium, calcium and phosphorus. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may also help to reduce the risk of developing heart disease, cancer, diabetes and hypertension. Try eating just one apple a day to reap the health and weight loss benefits.

Cucumbers

Cucumbers are an ideal belly-flattening food; they are abundant in fiber, water, and contain very few calories. The fiber-rich content also aids digestion and provides constipation relief.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is rich in fiber, low in calories and low in fat, which makes it a perfect food if you're trying to shed a few pounds. The soluble fiber in oatmeal also helps to improve digestion and lower cholesterol. Just one serving of oatmeal contains roughly 150 calories, and if you add a handful of blueberries or flavor it with nutmeg or cinnamon, you'll end up with a very nutritious, high-fiber, low-fat breakfast first thing in the morning that will leave you feeling full and satisfied for hours.

Almonds

Look at it this way... you will not crave for food if your body feels satisfied, so eating foods like almonds, which are chock-full of protein, fiber and monounsaturated fat (oleic acid), will help to prevent binge eating and cravings for unhealthy foods. Almonds are also abundant in Vitamin E and phytochemicals, which play a key role in heart health and cancer prevention. So, go ahead, grab yourself a handful every day and enjoy the many health benefits that almonds provide and lose belly fat in the process.

Beans and Legumes

Consuming a serving of beans and legumes every day will not only slim your waist but also protect your heart. Beans and legumes contain lots of fiber, protein, antioxidants, minerals, slow-burning carbs and vitamins, which will help manage cravings and stabilize your blood sugar.

The key to reducing belly fat is to manage your blood sugar. High blood-glucose levels lead to elevated cortisol, causing your body to store dangerous visceral fat, particularly in the abdominal region (under the muscle). The accumulation of visceral fat in the abdomen is more of a threat to your health because it can cause a variety of health problems, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer. The goods news is that beans and legumes are low-glycemic, which means it won't cause a dramatic spike in your blood sugar or negatively affect cortisol.

How to Reduce Belly Fat by Reducing Stress - 4 Simple Steps

Welcome back, everyone, to our journey to burn stomach fat! This article is about how stress affects your hormones and your ability to burn stomach fat and feel good during the day.

First, what causes stress, and what are some of the negative effects that stress has on your body? Stress is caused by many factors that we encounter during the day and it has an adverse effect on your body. It makes you feel sluggish, think less clearly, and it even makes your body gain weight! What I'm going to do here, is put several simple stress reducing activities that you can do, today, as in, RIGHT NOW, that will reduce your stress levels, and help you burn stomach fat.

1)Start sleeping more! Pretty much every American doesn't sleep enough, and this causes a ton of stress on the body! You won't have what it takes to exercise, you'll get angry easier(causing even *more* stress), you'll get less done in your day, and you won't be as willing to work as hard on getting stuff done. Sleeping less causes the illusion that you're accomplishing more things in your day. This is incorrect, actually. If you sleep 8+ hours a day(I personally have been sleeping 9 hours a day for quite some time now, and do not regret it at all), you will have more energy, and get much more stuff done in the day. By spending MORE time sleeping, you'll be getting MORE done, and enjoy your life more. Want to burn that stomach fat? Do yourself a favor, and do sleep more.

2)Smile! Smiling, even having a fake one(which will in turn, turn into a real one), makes your body feel happier. I know, cheesy? That's okay, do it anyway. Your life is awesome, and you're on a journey to lose weight, why wouldn't that make you happy enough to smile?

3)Laugh! Laughing is *THE* ultimate stress reducer. You cannot be stressed out as you laugh. Heck, I bet you didn't know that laughing actually works out your muscles, did you? Well, it does. Laughing actually works out every muscle in your body, especially the core, while making you feel great. You want to burn stomach fat and get rid of stress all together at once? Laugh!

4)You time. That's right, I did just suggest you take out time in your day, to do whatever it is that you want. I don't care how much time you take out, as long as you take out SOME sort of time for yourself. You can take out 1 minute, or 16 waking hours if you like, but do something that *you* want to do, that is for you. It may be selfish, it may be this or that, but doing things that make you happy, will... well, make you happy. How much stress can you have while you're happy?

Well, that's all I've got for you guys about reducing stress to burn stomach fat, have a good day and keep on keepin' on!

Janet also chose more nutritional foods like unrefined carbs, plant based protein and animal protein from grass-fed animals. While there were plenty of good fat choices, she loved avocado, salmon and tout and ate these most of the time.

When she needed oils, she used pure virgin olive oils or coconut oils.

She went to the gym 3 times per week and spent a maximum of 40 minutes doing the workouts including warming up and down. This is to give the body time to recover and get ready for the next training session.

She focused on circuit training using free weight with 30 seconds rest periods.

Reduce Belly Fat - Diet and Exercises For Busy Women

Here's how to reduce belly fat using diet and exercises... specifically for busy women. Since time is at a premium, you need something that's quick and gets results. I have what you're looking for.

Reduce Belly Fat - Diet and Exercises

1. Do Belly Rubs

What you do is rub your hands together really hard for 15 seconds. Now, while lying down, rub small circles around you belly button with one of the hands for 30 seconds. Rest and repeat for a total of 5 minutes a day. Best to do it twice a day for 2-3 minutes each time.

This works because of the heat energy in your hands. It goes straight through your skin and right into the belly fat deposits... either loosening them up for excretion or literally destroying them right on the spot.

2. Eat 3 apples a day

Laugh at the boring tip if you want, but if you want an easy way to lose 2 pounds a month for a few months... here it is.

3. Jump on a mini-trampoline during your free time

This is a great and convenient exercise. What I do that literally saves me 10's of hours of time each month is I jump on the mini-trampoline during tv commercials. So I combine my tv time with my workout time... thus saving a big chunk of workout time and the drives to and from the gym!

You'd be amazed at how many commercials get stuffed into tv programs... about 22 minutes worth of commercials per hour. So get jumping... it's perhaps the best $25 I ever invested.

4. Walk on an incline

I personally hate walking and jogging when it comes to weight loss. A nice walk is fine, but I do it for leisure, not weight loss. But walking on an incline, WOW, that's a big time weight loss exercise.

So if you can find a treadmill, incline it 10-15 degrees and walk on it for 15-20 minutes. Try it and get back to me... evil laugh! It's a love-hate type of exercise. You're going to love the weight loss results... especially it peeling away belly fat.

5. Eat eggs as often as possible

Eggs are awesome because they're high in protein and fill you up. There literally is NOT a better food you can eat for breakfast. So eat eggs to avoid playing the "calorie catch-up" game with junk food snacks.

There you go, those are some quick diet and exercise tips on how to reduce belly fat.
